My final tesimonial goes--I recently had a reading with Barbara for my toy poodle, Bow Bow, and I approached it with a sense of skeptical curiosity. Right off the bat, Barbara spoke in Bow Bow’s tone, saying: “I live a small but big life. Although I’m a small dog, I get to do big human things. I get to go everywhere my human goes.”This gave me serious pause because it is an incredibly accurate description of Bow Bow’s life. He is not a typical dog; he has traveled extensively to China, the United States, Canada, Finland, Turkey, the Netherlands, Germany (twice), France (twice), Belgium, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Poland. He has visited numerous world-class museums and has seen Broadway shows including King Kong, The Lion King, Aladdin (twice), The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Cabaret, and Moulin Rouge. He even sat through a three-and-a-half-hour performance of Turandot at the Met Opera.Barbara also picked up on his love for "swimming" in a "pool." While we don't have a permanent pool, I did buy him an inflatable one during a heat wave, and he receives a full-immersion bath in the tub once a week—a detail that felt like a specific sensory "hit." Regarding a traumatic incident in March 2016, when Bow Bow was attacked by a vicious husky in Kitchener, Ontario, Barbara noted that he sensed my fear at the time but has since moved past it.While I remain a skeptic, Barbara’s ability to capture the specific "big human" nature of Bow Bow’s international lifestyle was uncanny and deeply entertaining.

美国姐们儿的见证报告: The session with Barbara Royal regarding feral acting Lyra Faye was good and upsetting. Lyra did tell her that she has a happy home and that she likes it here. She likes Mizu too. But...she was stuck full of needles and things sucked out of her in a (what sounded like...and Barbara agreed) past life where she was used in animal experiments. She said it was very painful and when she couldn't take it anymore, they euthanized her. OMG! She said that there was electric shock type pain through her body and when my fingers come near her to pet her, it makes her hair stand on end like the probable REAL electric shocks did to her in that life. She said my fingers become the needles and trigger the past life trauma. I was crying at this point. Barbara said that Lyra Faye explaining what happened to her should help her release the trauma and she "should" start acting better pretty quickly. Lyra did say that she loves me and knows I love her but that I get in her way and annoy her, so then she growls and hisses...because...SHE'S MEDITATING. That part was funny! She likes to meditate and when I go to pet her or interact with her when she's being all Buddhist, it ticks her off. Thinking about it, what Barbara said Lyra conveyed makes sense. Lyra will be in her sanctuary (inside one of the cat tree cubicles) and because I want to interact with her, I wake her up and interrupt her meditation by sticking my hand in there to TRY to pet her or my face by the opening to talk to her. So, basically, I need to leave her alone when she's in the OMMMM zone. She also said she doesn't like the food I'm giving her and that I need to change it. Great...it's a brand new expensive cat food. She told Barbara that she's in my life to teach me patience. That hits dead on if I'm honest. I'm not known for patience and she is forcing me to learn it.
Afterward, I did tell Barbara that I suspect her (probably as she was SO tiny) being the runt of the litter and the last one to be adopted traumatized her...that she probably felt scared and abandoned. Actually, she was clearly scared that day at PetSmart during the adoption event. I also told Barbara, after hearing about her being used in horrid animal experimentation, that the fact Espanola Humane spayed her (painful and traumatic) too young probably triggered the past life being abused by people memory. Kittens are supposed to be at least 8 weeks old and 2 lbs. before they get spayed or neutered but they did her at 5.5 weeks and 1 lbs. A couple of vets agreed with me that what Espanola Humane did to rush getting her and her siblings out of the shelter wasn't okay.
Barbara drew the butterfly oracle card to represent me...transformation coming. The line I am supposed to say to Lyra Faye to build on that is "We are relaxed and calm before we spread our wings."
Barbara asked me to call her on Wednesday to follow-up. I am glad to hear that Lyra Faye being able to express what she went through may help that trauma let go...and heal. Interestingly, during that part of the session, Lyra, who had been out on the balcony, came part way through the door with this curious look on her face of: Who is talking to me? It's not you, so who is talking to me?

这是美国姐们儿写的见证报告: It was interesting to watch Lyra Faye's facial expression as Barbara talked to her telepathically. Her eyes got big and she looked at me weird...like she couldn't figure out where the voice was coming from as it wasn't coming from me. Besides the awful past life trauma that showed up in the 1st session where Lyra Faye had been an animal used in abusive and painful lab experiments, this time she talked about how when she was really young with her mom and siblings outside in the wild. She said that she got very scared because people chased them and the kittens (and mama cat, probably) ran. Certain things in the condo trigger flashbacks when I'm not home and that's why she attacks/trashes things. She thinks she's being chased/attacked again. She did say that she likes my home and is happy here, though.
Regarding being chased when she was a very young kitten, that IS possible as someone found the mama kitty with babies outside somewhere...so odds are, she/he had to chase them to catch them. In Lyra's adoption file they noted "kittens are runners". Barbara told me I have to work hard to make Lyra feel safe. I'm not to make any sudden movements around her, etc. and let her come to me. Don't try to catch her. Of course, right now that's gonna be hard because she really needs her nails clipped. They are back to being long razor blades. The coincidental thing is that the card she drew for Lyra matched the card she drew for me, previously...the Ant. The Ant card is all about bonding with your community. So, added to the original Butterfly card she drew for Lyra last time where I was given the affirmation "We are relaxed and calm before we spread our wings" she gave me the additional affirmation of "We are cooperating for the highest good of the community." The Ant card is connected to Sirius and Metatron's Cube. I'm to talk to Lyra very gently/softly (I do anyway) when I repeat the affirmation.
Barbara kept focusing on me being an issue. Pfffffft! She said I have to be calm and learn how to handle stress better as it is affecting Lyra. I do know that pets pick up their human parents' moods. But, I've actually been less stressed since Monday due to my temporary much better work location commute. She wants me to meditate on the Metatron's Cube image. There's something about it that is important. Barbara felt that Lyra did release some trauma today from her feral childhood and "should" show improvement within the next couple of days. I hope so! I will say that just now while I was drinking tea and changing the aquarium's water, she actually got near me and hung around with Mizu for quite a while. At one point I thought she might let me pet her, but, nope.
Oh, and another thing she told Barbara to tell me is that she likes being up high (most cats do) so that it would help to have more high things for her to get up on like an additional cat tree or something. I told Barbara I'd love to install one of those cool cat walks I've seen people put in their homes a foot or 2 below the ceiling, but don't want to install things on my walls since I'll need to sell this condo in less than 7.5 years. Granted, it "could" be a selling point if a buyer has cats. She and Mizu both get on top of the refrigerator sometimes and I know she gets up on the shelves in my closet to fling my wigs and scarves...along with climbing to the top of the shelving unit in my bedroom to dig up my struggling spider plant. Then there's the fact she opened up 2 kitchen cabinet doors, climbed up numerous shelves, to get to the top shelf and toss glassware so it could shatter on the tile. :-/
Anyway, it'll be interesting to see if anything super noticeable shifts in her this weekend. I hope it does! It sucks that she skulks around trying to hide from my notice while avoiding me to hide under the sofa or TV cabinet. I've done nothing to hurt her or abuse her, so it's been upsetting that she's often so afraid of me. But, clearly, she had trauma as a very young kitten and in that horrible past life.

Interesting. I like to know what my puppy thinking too, but she had no trauma history and not from a shelter either. I guess I have to guess her for the rest of her life. Thank you for sharing.
