茂宜岛的夜色

海是一片翻动的夜
连着静止的部分

浪看不见沙滩上的我
拿走我的脚印

我感觉到它清凉的呼吸
听见有声音在呼唤

呼唤——
呼唤从未抵达

sea is a piece of night
heaving-connected to the stillness 

the waves cannot see me on the sand-
they carry my footprints away 

I felt its cool breath on my skin and heard a voice
calling

calling-
a call that never arrives
