读书讲故事: 飞越万里来会你

Hudsonian Whimbrel（哈德逊中杓鹬） 是一种鸡一样大的候鸟。它冬天是在南美洲过冬，夏天则飞到加拿大北部北极圈里来繁殖。每年五六月间，它们回到解了冻的北极荒原来寻找配偶，繁殖后代，在北极短短的夏季孵化一窝四只小鸟和喂养它们。完成了这一年的工作，它们分手了各自沿来的路飞回去。有的走美洲大陆东边的大西洋海岸，有的走西边的太平洋海岸，沿路在沙滩上用长长的嘴在沙滩里找小动物吃。

Hudsonian Whimbrel在南美过了一年，又沿原路飞回来到一年以前来过的地方找老情鸟--- Whimbrel是一辈子搭伴的，那另一半也是循着去年分手以后的路又找回来。有的要走9000英里才能回来。
