A glimpse of roadside white daffodils
standing as a rectangle on green grass
As if there were a mobile home
long long ago
Now without a trace
except the surrounding daffodils
still remember whoever planted them
perhaps in every spring after
whatever the life stories therein
any one in the small town still telling?
