The teacher asks during math class: “If there are 17 pigeons on the roof and I shoot one of them, how many pigeons are still on the roof?”

Fritzchen raises his hand and says: “None!”

“How did you come up with that?” the teacher wants to know.

Fritzchen answers: “I thought that the others would fly away once they hear the shot!”

The teacher admonishes him: “We are in math class; you should be calculating, not thinking!”

老师在数学课上问：“房顶上有17只鸽子，我用枪打下1只，房顶上还有几只？”

小弗里茨举手回答：“一只也没有了！”

“你怎么得出这个结论的？”老师想知道。

小弗里茨回答：“我想其它鸽子都被枪声吓跑了！”

老师责备他说：“咱们是在数学课上，你应该计算，不应该想！”
